For my Eat Yourself Fit cookery segment on Ireland AM this morning, I opted for a pretty simple red skirt and little strappy top, as I wore a cooking apron most of the time and the bright lights in studios are notoriously hot.

My red skirt is the ASOS Midi Prom Skirt in Scuba (€40).

It’s one of those easy, comfy and simple skirts to throw on with a little top in warmer weather or fine knit sweater on cooler days, and I know that I’ll be wearing it throughout the autumn and winter with tights and boots for a pop of colour on those dark evenings.

I paired the skirt with a simple white v-neck cami top from River Island (€17). I bought one in white and one in orange, and have worn them all summer. They’re so easy to wear with jeans and skirts, and the crepe material washes very well too. I feel a bit like my mum saying that… definitely getting old!

It has a pretty design at the back and a relaxed fit, making it easy to tuck into waistbands.

I stuck to gold accessories, wearing a long vintage chain given to me by my mum layered with my personalised gold disc necklace from Stella & Dot (€75). I love it so much and rarely take it off!

Another piece I love wearing at the moment is this green and gold ‘Glam Spirit’ watch from Thomas Sabo’s new collection (€229). It’s elegant and a grown-up gold, plus I really like the green face.
