I love a good bargain – who doesn’t! This time of year is perfect for picking up some great sales items and I especially like the tassel details seen on everything from knee-high and ankle boots, to heels and sandals this year. They’re perfect for summer festivals and strolling around exploring new cities.
I’m a big fan of ankle boots, as they work so well with jeans, skirts and dresses. They go especially well with floaty dresses for our Irish summer, when it can sometimes be a little bit too chilly to wear open-toe sandals, and black tights are definitely no longer an option! These heeled tassel ankle boots were bought last year from Zara.
One of my favourite and most comfortable pairs of ankle boots are these brown tassel wedge boots from Missguided. I’ve worn them so much over the past few months, so I decided to have a peek at their sales to see whether they have anymore cute boots or heels at knockdown prices.
And I found a few great options, all at well under €25:
Tassel front ankle boots in tan (€22.40)
These buckle detail boots come in both brown and khaki, and would look great with a floral summer dress or distressed denim shorts.
Fringe detail heeled sandals (€21)
Perfect dancing shoes! I would wear these with a simple little black dress to let the tassels do the talking. The snakeskin detail gives them a chic edge too.

I like the chunky heel on these boots, and it’s perfect for those that prefer a little more height. Great with a pair of denim jeans for a country casual weekend look!

Similar to the above but I like their nod to the Wild West, and the stitch detail across the front.
