Dublin City was basked in sunshine yesterday evening when I attended the 2nd birthday celebrations for Goss.ie at House Dublin. The room looked beautiful, with balloons and colourful decorations overhead as guests sipped on their aperol spritzers.
I always find it tricky to choose what to wear to weeknight events and launches. So many guests arrive straight from work, yet they’re usually glam parties, so it’s striking the right balance between dressy and casual, while trying to be comfortable enough and warmly dressed for every season of Irish weather. I’m all about comfort these days!
I decided to go for trusty black, in this leather-look pleated skirt from ASOS (now reduced to €23.94)…
On top, I wore a black open sleeve bodysuit from Missguided (€26.60)…
I also threw a cute floral embroidered Zara bomber over my shoulders. The exact one doesn’t appear on the Zara Ireland website, although they have a decent range to choose from and this version is similar for €69.95…
I kept my accessories pretty simple, wearing delicate bracelets and this leather-look choker from Missguided (€10.64).
