This week, I helped to launch the gorgeous new Beautique Beauty Studio in Ballymount’s Fashion City and it’s seriously one of the prettiest beauty salons I’ve ever laid eyes on! Bright and incredibly spacious, its luxe interior features chandeliers, floor-length mirrors, velvet curtains and a vast array of tanning booths, private treatment rooms, sinks, glossy make-up mirrors and pedicure stations.
Offering treatments including semi-permanent lashes, Phi Brows, hot stone body massages, gel and acrylic nails, blow-dries, make-up and even teeth whitening, it’s the perfect one-stop beauty shop. I would bring a gang of girlfriends there for some pre-party pampering and even my bridesmaids too – if I was getting hitched again!
For the launch, I stuck to simple black and gold. It’s that time of year again. I’ve swapped my bright summer clothes for all black everything and just can’t help it. I opted for bare legs but can’t wait to get back into thick black tights again too!
The little black cropped jacket is new from Pretty Little Thing (€77) and I love the tassels, gold buttons and embroidered detail in it. It dresses up the most simple outfit and I know I’ll get plenty of wear out of it over the next few months.
My little black Bardot-style frill detail dress is also from PLT (€37.80). It’s comfy and easy to wear with both heels and ankle boots, plus the tie waist gives it a flattering shape.
My pointed black ankle boots are from Cari’s Closet (€159) and feature a red sole.
My gold and grey enamel cuff is by Tory Burch (€180) and comes in a variety of different colours and styles.
