With the increasingly cold and dark evenings setting in, some of you may not be feeling the most motivated to get outside for a walk or run after work… and I don’t blame you one bit! The sofa, a cosy fire and a warming cup of tea tend to be far more appealing than braving the elements. And with the rush of Christmas parties, dinners out and much-needed catch-ups with old friends coming up over the next few weeks, the desire to keep fit can tend to wane a little bit.
I would always encourage you to stay active for you mind, body and overall health, and even taking a brisk walk a few times a week can make a huge difference to everything from your stress levels to bone health, but plenty of us leave it until January to get the fitness regime really started.
