I’m just home from a whirlwind 24 hours in the super-cool city of Berlin, where I was attending the launch of the brand new campaign for Hairfree.
And apparently black sequins were the theme of the night!
I walked the red carpet at the event along with some of Germany’s most glamorous ladies, and once the photos were done, we had a chance to relax, chat and enjoy the evening.
It’s definitely the best time of the year to glam up in a sparkly dress, and with Christmas party season fast approaching, sequins are everywhere!
This little black dress with a feather trim, is from the new winter collection from Cari’s Closet (€85)…
and I paired it with these fun black tassel heels (€59)..
I kept my jewellery to just these sparkly yellow citrine earrings (€149)…
and ring (€99), which are both from Lauryn Rose, and SO gorgeous in real life!
To ensure my legs looked their best, I used the Lovely Legs spray from Cocoa Brown (€7.99)…
and then lightly brushed the Gosh Giant Sun Powder (€19.99) down the centre of my shins, to give them a golden glow 🙂

1. Rare London Sweetheart Sequin Plunge Neck Mini (€55)
I adore this elegant sweetheart neckline, as it’s a really flattering shape to your shoulders and arms.
I do love black sequins for Christmas parties, but this dress also comes in green!

If you feel like going all out and stealing the attention from everybody else in the room, then this dress is for you! It’s short, fitted and features colourful, sparkling sequins. Perfect for hitting the dance floor!
3. Striped Sequin Mini Skirt (€35)
I absolutely love this silver striped mini skirt, which has a high waist and an exposed zip at the back.
It would be versatile enough to style with black, white, cream or grey, and really dresses up an outfit while allowing you to keep the rest of it really simple. I’d wear this for a Christmas dinner out with the girls!
4. High Neck Feather Trim Black Dress (€56)
I chose this black feather-trim dress, as it’s both sophisticated and fun, and not unlike the dress I wore in Berlin.
The feather trim is a great focal point, and you could easily keep your accessories to a simple pair of earrings and a cocktail ring. Plus the style is ideal for keeping you feeling warmer in chilly weather!
