unnamed-4Yesterday definitely felt like one of the hottest days of the year so far in Ireland, with beautiful sunshine all afternoon and evening. It was all the first day this year that I was able to wear a summery dress without being freezing cold. Hurrah!

Yesterday evening, I was a guest at the North Kildare Chamber Summer Business Expo in Sheehy’s Motors Naas. It’s a brilliant event for gathering local businesses together to network and swap details, and the sunshine meant that everybody was in great form šŸ™‚

unnamed-6I picked up this floaty Green Tea Dress (ā‚¬55) recently and had thought I wouldn’t have a chance to wear it until I went away on hols over the summer. But it was perfect for last night’s event, and would make a cute summer dress for BBQs, parties and long sunny lunches.

Rather than sandals, I paired it with light brown tassel ankle boots from Zara. I bought them last year, so they won’t be in stock now but Missguided has a similar pair for ā‚¬46.20.

This little gold ‘R’ initial necklace is a recent purchase from River Island and would make a lovely gift for someone – and just ā‚¬10 too. Obviously they come in every letter!

My silver watch is from Thomas Sabo, but here’s a similar version by Casio for ā‚¬42.25

And a pricier but gorgeous one by Michael Kors (ā‚¬208.44).

Have a lovely weekend and I hope there’s plenty of sunshine to enjoy wherever you are! šŸ™‚
