On Saturday night, I attended The Irish Red Cross Jasmine Ball with a group of gal pals. Held in the Clayton Hotel, the event is held to raise money for the people of Syria.

It was incredible to see over 800 people gather together to show their support and raise funds for the cause, with fabulous entertainment from The Dublin Gospel Choir, a tasty meal and plenty of post-dinner dancing adding to the very well organised event.

It has yet to be announced exactly how much the event raised, but with an incredible range of auction prizes, from luxury weekends away to a signed rugby jersey, I’m positive that a significant amount was raised to go straight into funding and support for the people of Syria.

Having had a busy week, I was definitely in the mood for wearing something more comfortably than a ball gown (pyjamas were extremely tempting). So I had a rifle through my wardrobe for something as close to a onesie as I could get away with wearing in public, and spotted this silky sleeveless blue jumpsuit. I got it a few years ago in Divine Boutique, and having only worn it once, I decided it would be perfect for The Jasmine Ball! Glam, comfy and I absolutely love that shade of blue.

My hair was curled and pinned up by Christina at Ceira Lambert‘s salon, to achieve that bouncy volume which stayed all night (with the help of a generous spritz of hairspray!).

To add some sparkle, I popped on this heavily encrusted statement Giverny necklace from Stella and Dot (on sale for €109.49), and kept the rest of my accessories simple with just a small pair of diamond studs.

To bring out the soft pink colour of the stones in the neckpiece, I wore these Paris Baby Pink Pointy Heels from House of CB (£119.99). I bought them online last September and have had so much wear out of them as they’re surprisingly comfy and go with so much 🙂

Although my jumpsuit is no longer available at Divine, I’ve done a sweep of my favourite online stores to see if there’s anything similar available and found five stylish options…

Blue Satin Panel Bandeau Jumpsuit from Missguided (€45)

I love this unusual blue colour, and the shape is very similar to my own one. Easy to pair with simple shoes to let the outfit do the talking.

Petra Lace Beau Cold Shoulder Jumpsuit from French Connection (€159)

Ultra chic, this is the kind of jumpsuit you would wear over and over again. I love the elegant off the shoulder lace sleeves.

Petite White Bandeau Frill Jumpsuit (€73) from River Island

Summery and fresh, I would wear this with a pair of strappy bright heels for a gorgeous pop of colour.

ASOS Wrap Front Jersey Jumpsuit (€33.78)

I adore the elegant simplicity of this jumpsuit, with its flattering sleeve length, open back and pockets. Pair with flats for a smart daytime look, or pointed heels for instant evening glam.

ASOS One Shoulder 80s Jumpsuit (€64.86)

How fun! The gorgeous bright pink of this jumpsuit caught my eye, and the one-shoulder shape really stands out. The cinched-in waist would flatter almost every figure and it’s lovely to see a peek of ankle at this time of year.
