Diamonds are a girl’s best friend as the old saying goes…. and after the most blissful evening spent at Cullen & Co. Jewellers last week… I would probably have to agree!

At their Live Life With Colour event, Cullen & Co. showcased their incredible collection of coloured diamonds to friends and clients, and I was lucky enough to try on some of their most stunning pieces.

From this beautiful yellow diamond, to an enormous ‘pigeon blood ruby’, I had the chance to try on and admire some breathtaking jewellery.

Only in my wildest imagination would I own something like this necklace, ring and bracelet set, worth hundreds of thousands. But a girl can still dream, right?!

However, these sparkly yellow diamonds are a more accessible investment, with the pear-shaped ring on the left on sale for under €4k. It would be something you would have for the rest of your life to wear and enjoy.

My outfit ended up tying in quite well with the pale pink diamonds on display! My dress is the dusky pink lace Rule Breaker (€44.95) from Oh Hello Clothing.

It’s backless with a pretty bow, and I paired it with Paris 5″ pumps in Caramel from House of CB (£119.99) and a pale pink long Zara blazer (similar to this one – €49.95).

My hair was curled and pinned up at Ceira Lambert’s salon a few hours before the launch to achieve that bouncy look, and my tan is the TanOrganic Self-Tan Mousse.

My makeup for the event was similar to last week’s wedding look, although I used Myth lipstick by MAC (€20) instead of the Sleek liquid lipstick…

Myth is one of my absolute fave pale lippie shades as it really works well as a contrast to a smoky eye and helps to make lips look more plumped up too 😉
