Hi everyone!
I hope your Monday is going well š
On Saturday, I went to the Spinal Injuries Ireland annual spring lunch held at Dublin’s Marker Hotel.
My mum has been a patron of the charity ever since she spent a long time at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire when she broke her neck in a horse-riding accident back in 1993. She was so lucky to make a full recovery, but the support she received from Spinal Injuries Ireland was invaluable to her and the rest of my family.
And what better way to show our support to the charity than to go to their lunch, which raised much-needed funds for the amazing work that they do in providing help and promoting the welfare of those affected by a spinal cord injury.
Loads of fun and food, plus catching up with friends. Oliver Callan hosted the event, and treated us to some hilarious impressions of well-known Irish figures, which had us all in stitches!
To glam up for the occasion, I wore the Alex Perry ‘Ellie’ Dress from The Ivory Closet, which is delicate black lace, with a high collar and a bodice that zips up at the back and gives a great shape to the dress. I paired it with black bow heels, a purchase last year from Cari’s Closet, as well as these gorgeous sparkly Betty and Biddy ‘Alberta’ earrings.
